Here in the South and in all parts of the world cups and saucers are used for drinking coffee and tea so women, especially have loved beautiful coffee and teacups. Most think, of course, fine china, but a wonderful twist is glass hand painted in delighted designs of springs flowers.
Painting the flowers in different shades of colors show through the glass and makes the transparency of colors that more beautiful. We paint along the rim of the saucer as well along with the handle for an added touch of whimsey that makes the beauty of the coffee cup and teacup stand out.
